These terms apply when you use watershedlearning.space and when you buy anything from it. Please read them before ordering.

Who you are buying from: Watershed Learning LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731, USA. Support email: contact@watershedlearning.space.

1. Who you are contracting with

Purchases are a contract between you and Watershed Learning LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731, USA. The same identity appears on your receipt and on your card or bank statement descriptor.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Accounts, purchases and course enrolments are held by adults — parents, guardians or teachers — not by children.

3. Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share login details outside the licence you bought.

4. Orders, prices and errors

  • Prices are in US dollars (USD).
  • Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Your order is accepted when we send the confirmation email, or when digital access is granted, whichever is first.
  • Occasionally something is listed at the wrong price or is unavailable. If that happens, we will contact you and either honour the price, offer you the corrected price to accept or decline, or cancel and refund in full. We will not quietly charge a different amount.
  • Any applicable taxes are shown before you confirm payment.

5. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through the payment providers offered there. We do not store your full card details.

6. Delivery and access

What you receive and when depends on the product type — see the Shipping & Delivery Policy, Digital Products Policy and Course Access Policy. The applicable terms are shown on each product page before purchase.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Intellectual property

All courses, files, text, images and designs on this site belong to Watershed Learning LLC or its licensors. Buying a product gives you a licence to use it as described on the product page — it does not transfer ownership. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly post or create derivative products from our materials without written permission.

9. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or other users’ accounts, scrape or bulk-download content, upload malicious code, or use the site in a way that disrupts it for others.

10. Reviews and content you submit

Reviews must reflect genuine experience of a product you actually bought. We do not remove reviews for being negative, we do not write reviews ourselves, and we do not offer anything in exchange for a positive one. We do remove content that is abusive, off-topic, or contains personal information — including anything identifying a child.

11. Educational content — what we do and do not claim

This matters more than the usual boilerplate, so it is in plain words:

  • Our materials are educational resources. They are not professional advice, not a diagnosis, and not an assessment of any individual learner.
  • We do not guarantee grades, test results, curriculum compliance or academic outcomes, and we do not claim our resources are fit for any particular school, district or state framework unless we have verified that and said so explicitly.
  • A Certificate of Completion records that a course was finished. It is not accreditation and confers no credit or qualification.
  • Water quality activities and kits are for learning about measurement. They are not drinking-water safety tests. Never use a reading from our materials to decide whether water is safe to drink — contact your water utility or a certified laboratory.

12. Safety

Hands-on activities involve water, household materials and, in some kits, small parts. Age guidance and safety warnings appear on every relevant product page and inside every kit. Adult supervision is required. These warnings are there to be followed — a disclaimer in the terms does not replace reading the instructions, checking the age label or supervising the activity.

13. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and occasional outages happen.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. These provisions, and the governing law and dispute-resolution terms below, should be confirmed by a qualified lawyer for the business’s actual state of incorporation before launch.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes are subject to the courts of the State of Texas, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
