3. Payments

We do not see or store your full card number. Payment details are handled directly by the payment provider used at checkout, and we receive only what we need to identify the transaction — an amount, a status and the last digits of the card. The provider’s own privacy notice applies to the data you enter on their form.

4. Who we share data with

Only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only for that purpose. They are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing. These fall into the categories: website hosting; payment processing; email delivery (receipts and, if you opted in, newsletters); shipping carriers, for kit orders only; and analytics. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Children’s privacy — please read this one

Our materials are written for children aged roughly 8–14, but this store is designed for adults. Purchasing and account creation are for parents, guardians and teachers.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. That includes full name, email address, precise location, photographs, voice recordings and open-ended text submissions.
  • Accounts are held by the purchasing adult. Children work through course material under that adult’s account — they do not register, log in separately, or submit content to us.
  • We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles of children, and we do not run behavioural advertising on this site.
  • Analytics, embedded video, chat widgets and any third-party pixels are reviewed before they go live specifically to check what they collect. Anything we cannot justify does not get installed.
  • If you believe a child has given us personal information, email contact@watershedlearning.space and we will delete it.
  • If student or classroom accounts are added in future, they will not launch until a specialist privacy review is complete and the necessary school or parent agreements are in place.

6. Email marketing

We only send marketing email to people who ticked an unticked box asking for it. Marketing consent is always separate from completing a purchase, and never bundled into accepting terms. Every marketing email has a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Transactional emails — receipts, download links, shipping notifications, booking confirmations — are not marketing and are sent regardless, because they are part of what you bought.

7. Cookies

Set out separately in the Cookie Policy, including how to change your choices.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct it; ask us to delete it; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell it); and not be treated worse for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email contact@watershedlearning.space. We may need to verify your identity first — we will ask for the minimum needed to do that. We respond within the time frame the applicable law requires.

9. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to order data is limited to accounts that need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email.
