Safety
All challenges use ordinary tap water and classroom materials. Water produced in filtration challenges is not for drinking. Adult supervision is required throughout.

Licence
This resource is licensed for one teacher and one classroom. You may print and copy it for your own students. Please do not share the file with other teachers, upload it to a shared drive, or resell it. School and site licences are available — contact us.

How long is each challenge?
Most run in one 45–60 minute session, with an optional second session for redesign.
Do I need to buy equipment?
No. Materials lists use recycled bottles, sand, gravel, cotton wool, tape and string.
